Introducing Tara
“All the skills-training and people development in the world don’t count for much if people feel pressured, stressed or overwhelmed. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. Mindfulness is the key to nurturing and nourishing it.”
Every great journey needs a guide.
I’ve been working for over 30 years, across the world, in the areas of leadership, management, team development and frontline service. On my journey to now, I’ve connected with airlines, hotels, banks, credit unions, government departments, statutory bodies, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and automotive industries.
My experience is important because it’s brought me to this point. To an understanding of the pressure and stress that being in business puts upon your life. To a recognition of how hard it is to function when poor relationships get in the way of achieving more.
I am fascinated by the connection between thoughts and behaviours. So often we don’t stop to think about what underpins our reaction to a situation. Why did we behave the way we did? How we could have reacted differently and achieved more?
I have integrated my background and skills in training and facilitation into my experience and knowledge as an accredited and registered Mindfulness Teacher. “My toolkit will give you and your team the ability to take control of your experience, develop resilience and emotional intelligence, be less stressed and become more effective. The end result is the opportunity to enjoy life more.
Ready to take your mindfulness to the next level? I’m also a certified Yin Yoga teacher, registered with the International Yoga Alliance and trained by Yin Therapy in Auckland. Yin Yoga offers the physical tools to aid in the release of tension and allow you to become more mindful of breath and body.
“Tara you are down to earth, real, and approachable. Your style of delivery as you considered responses to questions is fantastic – taking difficult or obscure questions and turning them into something meaningful is a really great skill you have.”
